Bambi Child Care Newsletter

Dear Parents,

We are very happy to announce that we are now Accredited Childcare. We provide a level of excellence in child care that exceeds provincial licensing requirements.

Reminder to all our parents, please don’t send toys from home to the daycare (unless it is a show and tell day). The toys can get lost, broken or other children can accidentally take them.

By the sign in sheet in each room, please mark if your child will be away in July or August. If you are registered for kindergarten in Cedarbrae or Louis Riel, please let teachers know.

Our Year End Party will be at the end of this month. The date will be later announced.

Baby Room

We would like to welcome Nehir and Chase to our room, they are adjusting very well to our group routines. Farewell to Claire who is moving with her family to BC. We will miss you.

Summer is coming and flowers are blooming. All our babies are playing outside and enjoying the best season every day. Please bring sunscreen and sunhat for your children. This month we’ll be learning about facial features (nose, eyes, mouth). We will also be reading books and singing songs about facial features.

Toddler Room 1

We would like to welcome Hayley and Pablo to our room. They are enjoying new adventures.

In May, our friends’ favorite songs were “Little fish”, “Get an apple from the apple tree” and “Bubble song”. In June, we are planning to have more outdoor activities such as sandbox, and water play for our little friends. We  We will prepare special presents for Fathers day, and continue our planned craft activities.

Reminder to all the parents to prepare sunscreen, summer hats, extra clothing and water bottles. Everything should be properly labeled.

Toddler Room 2

We would like to welcome Julian and Margarita to our room. We hope they are enjoying themselves at Bambi.

This month we will be focusing on hands-on experiences with the children such as: painting, gluing, cutting etc…We are also making special surprises for our Fathers. Last month, we finished our “library adventure”. A librarian came once a week to read us a story, play games, and finger plays.

If your child is sick or you want to keep them at home, please call the daycare and notify us.

Preschool Room

Happy birthday to Aaron this month.

Gulay and Eli are helping us in the summer time.

Summer is here and we are going to play at the neighborhood park very often, so please don’t forget to bring sunscreen, and sun hats for your children. We are starting to work on a big project for Father’s Day.

Our music teacher continues to come every other Thursday to sing with us and play different instruments.

If the weather in June will be very hot, we’ll play in the sprinklers in front of the daycare, so please bring towels and bathing suits.

This month we will say goodbye to all our kindergarten children who are going to attend grade 1. We will miss them dearly and wish them the best of luck.
