Bambi Child Care Newsletter

Dear Parents,

Spring is slowly arriving and some days it is very wet outside, but children still like to go and play. So please bring extra clothes, snowpants and boots for your child. As some of you already noticed, we have two new staff members who joined our team:

Catalina Vargas from Columbia has her level 1 certificate and she is working in Toddler Room 1. Tami Kravitz from Russia is completing her level 1 certificate. She is helping Karina in the Baby Room.

We have created a Parent Survey, which will help make our program better, so please take a minute and fill it out.

In the beginning of April, children from the preschool room will be going to The Renoir Retirement Residence to sing some songs, and dance for the seniors. This will be a nice experience for our children and elderly. Parents who would like to volunteer, please contact Jane.

Baby Room

We would like to welcome our new teacher Tami who started working this month. This month, our room is very busy. We have lots of new friends: Leah, Claire, Brodie-Anne, Billy, Lissa-Marie, and Brody. Everybody is adjusting very well to our routine, and we as teachers are getting to know each and every one of our babies.Hopefully the weather will soon be warmer and we can enjoy playing outside on our playground.

Toddler Room 1

We would like to welcome our new friends Celia and Chloe. Mei is enjoying working with Catalina, who started working in the Toddler Room last month. Dear Parents, please don’t forget to check your child’s diaper and wipe supply and bring more as needed.To avoid misplaced clothing in our room, please label all your child’s items.

We would like to continue to make our children’s individual photo “gallery”. We are asking all the parents of children who joined us recently to bring 4 or 5 photos of your child during different ages.

This month we will be doing activities related to spring, such as singing songs, reading stories, and arts and crafts.

Toddler Room 2

This month, we would like to say happy 3d birthday to Camilla and also a warm welcome to Wind, Sasha and Noah who joined our room in March.

March is national reading month, so we will read some new stories and we invite the children to bring their favorite books so they can share them with all our friends. We will be learning about different types of weather, such as wind, rain, thunder, and lightning. For Saint Patrick’s Day, we will be making some leprechauns, pots of gold, and rainbows. We are going to start making photo “gallery” of our friends, so parents are asked to bring 4 or 5 pictures of your child (with family or friends) during different ages. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to talk to us.

Preschool Room

Happy Birthday to Alex this month. We would like to welcome a new friend Jacob to our room. Spring is arriving quickly so all our activities and crafts will be related to spring. This month we will be learning about farms and frogs. We will be learning new songs and games.

We are very excited for warmer weather, so we can go outside more often.
